Ayodhya Ram Temple: Prime Minister Narendra Modi The gifts given to Ayodhya from Sri Ranganatha Swamy Temple in Tiruchirappalli have been given to the newly constructed Ram Temple. These gifts were given by the presiding deity of Shri Ranganath Swamy temple to PM Modi to take to Ayodhya on the occasion of the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla.
What gifts were sent from Shri Ranganath Swami Temple?

According to news agency PTI, Sunder Bhatar, chief priest of Shri Ranganath Swamy Temple, said, “The gifts include two silk dhotis and three silk sarees.” There are fruits in the basket also. Gifts were given to mark the relationship as Sri Ranganath Swamy is from the family lineage of Lord Rama.’
PM Modi also gifted a silver umbrella placed on a red scarf. He had entered the sanctum sanctorum of the temple carrying an umbrella. The idol of Lord Ramlala was consecrated in the Ram temple of Ayodhya on Monday (January 22). PM Modi had led this program. He had said that this symbolizes the arrival of a new era.
PM Modi had kept a fast for 11 days
PM Modi performed the 11-day rituals before leading the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla at the Ram temple in Ayodhya. He had visited holy places related to Ramayana. Consuming coconut water, sleeping on the ground and feeding cows etc. were included in his fasts and rituals.
Before the consecration ceremony in Ayodhya, PM Modi had started his spiritual journey on January 12 from Nashik in Maharashtra, where after a road show he visited the Kalaram temple on the banks of the Godavari river in the Panchvati area. During his visit, PM Modi visited Veerabhadra Temple in Lepakshi in Andhra Pradesh, Guruvayur Temple and Triprayar Sri Ramaswamy Temple in Kerala, Ranganathaswamy Temple in Tiruchirappalli, Arichal Munai and Kothandaramaswamy Temple in Tamil Nadu.
